Not only that, free Wi-Fi is also available for customers — perfect for uploading your cat photos online immediately.
However, if you are planning to place a reservation, you better do it fast — as of 4.45pm today, Cafe Co-owner Tan Sue Lynn said that they are booked out from 2 to 7pm on the opening day.
Ms Tan says that the cafe hopes to share a message regarding cat ownership and adoption. With the 13 resident cats being all rescued or strays, Ms Tan said: “We have a social message here and that is cats can be affectionate, you just have to look out for them. You don’t have to buy — they can be adopted and yet affectionate.”
Located at 54a Boat Quay, the cafe is a suitable place for potential cat owners to be at before they make a commitment. “This space also serves a purpose of letting people who are not sure about having cats come into this area, to spend times with cats before they make the commitment of adopting a cat for life,” she added.
