The fund directs grants to grassroots groups that works to solve environmental issues the world over. (Case in point: Women in Madagascar used to walk for hours every day just to draw drinking water for their families but with support from Aveda and Global Greengrants, the communities have built a water system that supplies more than 4,500 people with clean and fresh water, allowing them to spend more time earning a living, educating and caring for their families.) Aveda Light The Way candle is available at Aveda Experience Centres and Aveda salons and spas from now until May 13.
