The nine-day “week” of over 90 shows has ended, leaving residents of the French capital and the army of fashionistas who attended gasping for breath as they pondered the latest designs for fall/winter 2015-16. From revealing, provocative styles by new designers to show-stopping accents of sugar pink, grey blue or coral to glittering Glam Rock fleeces from the stalwart Saint Laurent, it was a non-stop feast for the eyes.

With a crazy quilt mix of houndstooth, checks and blown-up tartan, Miuccia Prada baptized this season’s motto: Pile it all on — more is more.

Celebrity-watchers, too, could barely keep up with the action.

To deafening cheers, Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller closed Valentino’s show by storming the catwalk in a headline-grabbing stunt to announce their male model sequel “Zoolander 2”.

Elsewhere, Paul McCartney, Katy Perry, Snoop Dogg, Lorde and Kanye West were among the music mavens taking front-row seats. And photographers, always pressed for time in Paris, had to swivel away from the catwalk to catch a must-have photo of the shocking super-blonde locks of Kim Kardashian. AP
