Iggy Azalea fronts new House Of Style

LONDON — MTV is hoping to return its iconic House Of Style series to its former glory with a new version of the fashion-centric show fronted by singer Iggy Azalea.

LONDON — MTV is hoping to return its iconic House Of Style series to its former glory with a new version of the fashion-centric show fronted by singer Iggy Azalea.

The series kicked off in 1989 with Cindy Crawford at the helm and focused on the then-growing fascination surrounding supermodels, of whom Crawford was one. It regularly featured interviews with models including Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, as well as designers and industry insiders.

Crawford worked on the show for six years and, although it continued to run until 2000, its popularity declined following her departure.

It made a one-off comeback in 2009 with Bar Refaeli and Chanel Iman, and again in 2012 as an Internet-only series.

But now, MTV is bringing it back with an eight-episode series, reported Fashionista. It will kick off on August 4 on MTV.com and conclude at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Azalea will provide fashion commentary. THE DAILY TELEGRAPH
