SINGAPORE — Descendants Of The Sun may have wrapped up last week, but you don’t have to stay at home to watch it again and again — global tour provider Viator has handpicked special tours where you can immerse in the K-drama vibe both in Korea and in Greece, where some of the scenes were filmed.

Among the latter is a Descendants Of The Sun themed day trip from Athens to the archeological site of Delphi. Meanwhile, there is also the Ionian Islands, which is a filming location not only for the K-drama, but other films as well. In particular, the island of Zakynthos — home to Greece’s most famous beach Navagio (aka Shipwreck Beach), where the on-screen couple Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo enjoyed a date in an episode. An online shopping mall in Korea, Interpark, has also released a nine-day package tour to Greece.

If you are planning to stick to Korea, Viator has a selection of Hallyu-related tours: Its Korean Cultural Combo: Yongin MBC Dramia TV Set Tour and Korean Folk Village experience take guests on a heritage tour of a folk village, where they can immerse in life during the Joseon Dynasty. There’s also a half-day MBC Dramia tour, where one can walk through the sets of Korea’s historical television dramas (and maybe even encounter one of the celebrities). If one is into K-drama songs, there’s also a one-day K-pop tour of Seoul available. Meanwhile, the Korean cities of Taebaek and Paju, which were featured in the K-drama series, are also planning tourist attractions related to the show.
