SINGAPORE — Budget carrier Jetstar Asia has introduced a flight package to seven popular destinations in Asia for every long weekend next year.

The “Ultimate Long Weekend Flight Package” guarantees customers tickets to fly to Hong Kong, Penang, Perth, Bali, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei on specified dates next year, at a nett cost of S$2,017. The dates for each destination cannot be changed.

The package will go on sale from 9am Tuesday (Dec 6).

Jetstar Asia said it came up with the package in response to travel frustrations experienced by many Singapore residents in a Jetstar survey — some four in five respondents expressed a desire to maximise their leave during the public holidays, but were held back by higher peak travel rates.

The S$2,017 price tag is inclusive of all taxes, fees, credit card booking fees, and 20kg checked baggage allowance for all flights. The flight package will be sold on a first-come first-served basis, limited to four packages per customer.
