LOS ANGELES (California) — A galaxy far, far away will soon be right around the corner.

On Monday (July 11), Disney disclosed a new image of the forthcoming Star Wars-themed land that is to be implemented at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, respectively. The park is reported to be the largest single-themed expansion in Disneyland's 61-year history.

"Look closely and you may find hints of some of the thrilling experiences that are coming," says the press release posted to Disney Parks Blog.

Construction at both parks commenced in April. The new concept drawing shows the highly anticipated 14-acre park burrowed next to Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland, replacing the former Big Thunder Ranch at Disneyland Resort.

"These new lands at Disneyland and Walt Disney World will transport guests to a whole new 'Star Wars' planet," Disney CEO Bob Iger said during D23 Expo last August.

An official opening date has yet to be determined. For those eagerly anticipating its arrival, may the Force be with you. VARIETY.COM/REUTERS
