Anand Gaggan takes his progressive Indian cuisine to Tokyo

Chef Anand Gaggan’s fine dining Bangkok restaurant, Gaggan, sits at the top of the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list. He will be taking his progressive Indian cuisine to Tokyo, presenting it at a pop-up eatery at Tokyo’s Mandarin Oriental hotel.

On from June 15 to June 17, Gaggan will present a 15-course dinner menu at the pop-up, where space will be limited to 12 diners per sitting (four sittings per day). Table reservations are being taken now. Our suggestion: Stuff yourself, and head straight to a hotel room to recover.

Emirates’ travel deals to Australia

Emirates, which won four top awards at the Business Traveller Middle East 2017 Awards earlier this week, has launched travel deals for its Business and Economy classes. Fly to Perth on economy from S$479, to Melbourne from S$569, and to Brisbane from S$609. Business class fares to Perth start at S$1,899, and to Melbourne and Brisbane at S$3,499. Sri Panwa in Baba Phuket to host Japanese pop-up event

Heading to Phuket for an extended trip over the long weekend? Check out a pop-up Japanese event that will feature world-class restaurants on May 2 and May 3.
