Transportation is nascent in District 2. If you’re taking a taxi from District 1, arrange for the driver to pick you from a pre-determined location. You could also try Uber and cruise around in comfort.
If you’re not sure where to alight, stop at Villa Song Saigon and explore from there.
Best time to visit
While it is possible to explore Thao Dien on foot, it can be unbearable in the hottest months from March to May.
Budget
Many shops here accept credit cards. Expect to pay between S$10 and S$30 for meals.

District 2 offers a wide range of hotels and villas that range from affordable to lavish, like the S$600-a-night Imperial Suite at Villa Song Saigon.
