Enjoy over 10 hours of local indie music at the first CITY65 Music Festival on Saturday. Starting from 2pm, get to hear singer-songwriter Dru Chen performing singles such as Turnaround and You Got It Babe, as well as rock band Stopgap performing hit songs from their album, Totem.There will be an all-day barbeque with veal bratwurst hotdogs and Australian Angus beef burgers available. Tickets are priced at S$35. Students and full-time national service (NS)pay a discounted rate of S$25. Children under 12 enter for free.

South Korean actor Lee Dong Wook hits town. Best known for his role as in the Korean drama Goblin, he will be holding a free public press conference from 12pm to 1.30pm for fans at Plaza Singapura on Saturday. He will also be holding an official Asia Tour Fan Meeting at Mastercard Theatres at Marina Bay Sand at 7.30pm. Tickets start from S$138 via Sistic (www.sistic.com.sg).

Michelin-starred eateries and celebrated Bib Gourmand eateries are showing at the first-ever Michelin Guide Street Food Festival. The retro theme will be reflected in the food, which draws on street food of the 1960s and 1970s. Thus, diners will find offerings from one Michelin-starred Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle; the three Michelin-starred Joel Robuchon Restaurant @ RWS; as well as Bib Gourmand’s J.B. Ah Meng and Na Na Homemade Curry.

Japanese duo Eitaro Ogawa and Tamae Iwasaki, working under the name Keyakismos, and Tomohisa Miyauchi were behind HDB: Homes Of Singapore, the centrepiece of the Singapore Pavilion at the Venice Biennale last year. They also released an HDB homes photo book, and will be showing works from the book in an exhibition. The 2017 HSBC Singapore Rugby 7s’ after-party is set to be swinging. Music After 7s, featuring live bands, will see those such as 3AM performing acoustic covers on Saturday, while Mexican pianist and composer Alina Ramirez and bassist and guitarist Mario Lopez will present Afro-Latin rhythms on Sunday.

1-Altitude will be elegantly decorated in a theme inspired by the four seasons on Sunday for a wedding showcase. There, couples will take part in fun activities such as a do-it-yourself cocktail session. They can also attend a showing of what could be their own sky-high solemnization at the venue’s alfresco rooftop bar. Every couple that signs up for a 1-Altitude wedding package will get a chance to win a round-trip to Phuket.

Local and regional vendors will be showcasing their wares at Artbox Singapore, which runs across two weekends. The stalls at the pop-up event will be reminiscent of a pasar malam, and there will be a beer garden, as well as spaces to chill out at after a hard day of shopping. Local vendors such as The Lab SG will be serving up Western fare. Also look for “dragon’s breath” desserts from Tio Smoke. Thai vendors include Catcher Brand, showing tie dye apparel. Don’t forget to take a selfie at double-stacked shipping containers bearing a lit-up Artbox Singapore logo. Over 200 art installations created on metal sheets are on display as well.

Mark your calendar: Amoy Street’s Bloc Party will happen again on April 23. Expect food from Ding Dong, boCHINChe and Employees Only, which will be rolling out signature dishes and drinks for the event. DJ Zig Zach with British electronic duo Maribou State will provide beats at the main stage. Also try out traditional games such as chapteh and five stones.
