Go on a Rustic Reflections Tour or a Kampong tour with NParks at Pulau Ubin on Saturday (July 15), or attend a free with a demo of The Beauty of Acrylic Painting with Ho Kah Leong. In the afternoon celebrate Living Fisher Village Day with food, art and entertainment. Enjoy free kayak sessions and rustic island cooking, among other activities. On Sunday (July 16), head to the Assembly Area for booths by passionate Ubin interest groups, kids activities and kampong games. 2. RASA FIESTA SINGAPURA STREET FESTIVAL

Jiak Chuan Road will be transformed into a bustling Tiki Festival filled with music, bright lights and dance parties on Saturday (July 15) from 12pm to 10.30pm. Lime House and Phat Cat Laundry will dish out tropical concoctions (from S$10) from roadside booths, and guests can also visit artisanal booths and craft stalls, street food stalls (S$15), and enjoy salsa performances and more. Purchases are made via coupons, available at Destination Beverage booth.

3. CHILDREN’S STREET TRAIL 2017

The annual children-only street event is back. Find hidden animals, treasures and participate in activities along the trail at Yong Siak Street. All children are guaranteed a great time. Other activities include brownie baking, balloon party, street art discovery and craft making. Goodie bags will also be given away to the first 60 children who collect four or more stickers when they participate in the Street Trail activities.

4. NICKELODEON SLIME CUP

The Nickelodeon Slime Cup SG 2017 is back for the fifth year, and it is packed with games and action. Children aged four and above can take part in sporting activities with Slime as a main ingredient; complete various Slimy obstacles and stand a chance to take home goodie bags in the Great Slime Giveaway. Take photos with Nickelodeon characters like SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and PAW Patrol. 5. RAYA AT ISTANA KAMPONG GELAM

Fest 2017 returns and participants aged 13 to 17 will get to meet Singaporean comic artist Evangeline Neo and learn more about her and how she started drawing comics. Eva will be sharing about the inspiration behind her comics like Kopi and Matcha and Eva Goes Solo, and will also give a hands-on demonstration of how she draws an Evacomics character. Enjoy a throwback to school sports day with The Local People and Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN). Participate or cheer on as teams run through an obstacle course to test their strength, skills and speed. Browse curated stalls at an Art Market or listen to singer-songwriters like Ash Says, LEW and Desiree Orien Tay, Jana Ann Neo and Joy. Also enjoy performances by APSN Storm Troopers (Drums) and APSN Groovyz (Hip Hop).
