Circular Road will be on lock down for three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as part of the annual St Patrick’s Day celebrations. Festival-goers will get to enjoy live traditional Irish music and rock n’ roll from bands such as Gan Ainm, while all-female U2 tribute band The Rock Rosettes will play crowd favourites. Foodies, get stuck into drinks (of course) but also sample dishes such as Mogambo’s Guinness Punch (S$10) and Pahadi Poulet - which have both been given a green twist.

 

ON SHARKS & HUMANITY TRAVELLING EXHIBITION

The travelling exhibition On Sharks & Humanity has made its way to Singapore in the new Parkview Museum after it was previously showcased at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco in 2014, and after showings in Moscow and China. The exhibition addresses the practice of shark finning and the impact of human activity on the oceans through a variety of artworks. It will feature pieces by artists from Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany and the United States.

Annual street dance festival Scape Radikal Forze Jam is back with bigger offerings and new additions. Look forward to guest performances by Japanese dancers Project SJX, and Rie Hata Kids x Revolt. A new addition in the line-up of events is a competition where dancers form groups to deliver a performance that will be rated by a panel of judges. Freestylers and choreographers are welcome to compete. On March 19, the event culminates at Wave House Sentosa instead of *SCAPE Playspace.
