The Singapore Really Really Free Market is a temporary flea market where all items and services are free. Everything on offer is shared by visitors who are encouraged to bring items to give like books, toys and handmade sculptures, or skills to share, such as poetry writing, tarot card reading or singing. The market is open to the general public. Located at LASALLE College of the Arts Winstedt Campus.

SUPPORT ALL THINGS LOCAL AT 4FINGER'S MUSIC FESTIVAL

Admission is free (for people aged 18 and above)

Listen to local musicians while chomping on 4Finger's crispy chicken at the 4Finger's music festival. Look forward to performances by electronic singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko and indie-pop band Lost Weekend. Visitors can also have Coffee Bandits' coffee and hotdog or Dancing Elephant's artisanal ice cream. Exclusive band merchandise will also be available for sale at the Art Market. The festival is only open to visitors aged 18 and above as alcoholic beverages will be served at the event.

"ALWAYS MOVING": THE BATIK ART OF SARKASI SAID

Check out local batik painter Sarkasi Said's batik paintings from the 1990s to the present at the NUS Museum. There will be 11 artworks displayed at the exhibition, which trace back to his days as an itinerant street artist, to becoming a prominent batik artist exploring with an abstract style in his works.

Compass One will be hosting its first Mid-Autumn Celebration until Oct 4. There will also be a training workshop by Happy Tails at the event.

Learn about Singapore's journey to a Garden City in a talk conducted by librarian Lim Tin Seng. Lim will be using maps, photographs, government records and primary documents that have been taken from the National Library and National Archives of Singapore during the one-hour talk. Green Is the New Black returns for its fourth edition at PARKROYAL on Pickering with a slew of educational workshops. Speakers include award winning filmmaker and journalist Craig Lesson and author-speaker Dr. Ali Walker, who explores the connections between the personal, the social and global. There will also be a Mindful Market featuring conscious fashion, art, beauty and life brands at the event. Tickets are priced at S$55 per session and S$90 for an all-access pass. Admission is free for the market.
