MYSTICA. The Night Safari has been transformed into an enchanting MYSTICA wildlife wonderland. Go on the MYSTICA Quest and navigate the twists and turns set by the Trail Guardians. There are many game stations from which to earn coloured wristbands. The Balanced Beat game station, for instance, lets you replicate the drum beats of Naracoorte while balancing on a beam. Along the way, you’ll be guided by curious creatures such as Ravishing Raven, Jumparoo and Slithery Snake. Collect three coloured wristbands to redeem a S$5 retail voucher. Collect four and receive a tumbler (valid for the first 200 guests daily). Till Dec 20, 5.30pm to 10pm (Quest stations open at 7.30pm), Night Safari. SENTOSA’S WINGS OF TIME. To cap off a family day out at Sentosa, head for Wings Of Time. Set outdoors against a backdrop of the sea, the 25-minute show tells the story of two teenagers, Felix and Rachel, who help a bird-like creature named Shahbaz find its way home. Enjoy an impressive display of water effects, fireworks and light projections along with majestic music and breathtaking views of the evening sky. BIKINI BOTTOM AT DOWNTOWN EAST. Step into the bubbly world of SpongeBob SquarePants and friends at Downtown East. Visit the famous pineapple house under the sea and snap pictures with a 3.5m Christmas tree in the form of Patrick Star. Drop in at The Krusty Krab — Bikini Bottom’s favourite fast food restaurant — and whip up the perfect Krabby Patty through a simple memory game. Other games include helping Mr Krabs match foreign currencies to the flags of their respective countries. Make your own SpongeBob button badge and, while you’re at it, don’t forget to pop by the lovable sponge’s house during the Rush Hour Bash for daily giveaways. CHRISTMAS STORIES AT IKEA. Watch IKEA’s soft toys come to life in original tales created by guest storytellers, including journalist Clara Chow, MediaCorp DJ Glenn Ong and acclaimed children’s book author Adeline Foo (The Diary of Amos Lee series). This show-and-tell event is organised in conjunction with IKEA’s global Soft Toys for Education campaign to raise funds for education programmes supported by UNICEF and Save the Children. IKEA Singapore is also encouraging people to donate IKEA soft toys to local charity Food From The Heart. It will match the donations one-for-one.
