SUNDAY ON THE HILL

Spend a laidback Sunday afternoon with your family at kult kafe on Emily Hill. From 3pm to 10pm, listen to music from musician Stew Bamrah and DJs Tom Shellsuit and Mr Assin and enjoy garden bowling, darts, and pool. For artists, creators and fans of art, illustration and derivative content inspired by pop culture, Doujin Market aims to be Singapore’s largest community-curated youth arts and illustration fair. Head to The Crescent, Level 2, Suntec City today and tomorrow. Admission is free.

THE HARD ROCK FAREWELL WHITE PARTY

Hard Rock Cafe is shutting its doors to prepare for a new look for its Cuscaden Road outlet when it reopens in September. Say bye to the eatery at its party this evening from 7.30pm until late. Celebrated in the spirit of Brazil’s traditional New Year’s Eve party, guests are invited to come dressed in white. Live performances by Cuban Singer Meivys Sahily and her band Meivys Sahily Su Sabor.

HONG KONG 4 DIVAS IN CONCERT

Catch television favourites Nancy Sit, Louise Lee, Michelle Yim and Susanna Kwan as they reunite on stage at Resorts World Ballroom, Resorts World Convention Centre at 8pm on Saturday. Tickets from S$38 to S$158 from SISTIC.

THE ATTABY COLLECTIVE’S NOT YOUR AVERAGE POP-UP

This pop-up store at UPstairs at 76 Haji Lane features independent labels. Head there from 12pm to 8pm (ends June 4) to get your hands on unusual bouquets by Floral Kokoro, Spanish espedrilles from Cote+Badt, FRANKITAS’ collection of bags and purses and home accessories from Maissone. There, you can also meet some of the designers and speak to the distributors of the brands.

Broadway’s smash hit, featuring seven magicians in a wondrous spectacle, returns to Singapore with a brand new cast and show. Until May 15 at MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands. Tickets from S$55 available at SISTIC.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK: ROMEO & JULIET

WOMEN: NEW PORTRAITS

Famed photographer Annie Leibovitz’s new exhibition WOMEN: New Portraits will feature work from her original series of photographs from 1999, as well as other works taken since. Entrance to the exhibition is free. Until May 22 at Tanjong Pagar Railway Station.

HEADS UP: MEENAH AND CHEENAH
