Enjoy an educational time at Science Centre Singapore’s Omni-Theatre (picture), South-east Asia’s first 8K 3D Dome Theatre. Visitors can watch a 3D digital full dome movie Natural Selection 3D, which is an animated film that follows a young Charles Darwin’s adventurous voyage of exploration on the HMS Beagle. A live planetarium show takes audiences through an interplanetary journey around the solar system. Tickets for all shows are priced at S$14 each.
SNOWY SPLENDOUR AT PLAZA SINGAPURA

Plaza Singapura has brought the winter wonderland to the island. The Snowy Splendour event is the first Outdoor Snow Fun House here. THE YARD’S CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

Singapore’s integrated sports centre The Yard is opening its doors for its first Christmas Festival on Sunday.
The Yard community together with gymnasts, free-stylers and traceurs will put on an acrobatic show, featuring high-performance gymnastics, trampolining and parkour displays. There will also be a festive marketplace featuring more than 50 boutiques.
MERRY NEXMAS WITH SESAME STREET
Venue: Nex Singapore, 23, Serangoon Central

This is your last chance to catch the popular American children’s television series Sesame Street characters at Nex shopping mall. Your favourite Sesame Street characters such as Elmo, Cookie Monster and Grover will be performing a Sesame Street Live! show at Nex Atrium, Level 1 at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm. The show will be great for your little ones to dance along with. Shoppers who spend S$50 will be entitled to enter the Nex’mas lucky draw to win prizes worth over S$20,000. The show ends its run on Sunday.
ART GIVES BACK EXHIBITION

This charity art exhibition organised by Touch Community Services will feature pieces by Cultural Medallion for Art Award recipients Chong Fah Cheong and Han Sai Por, as well as other locally-acclaimed artists who have made a mark in the local arts and culture scene. Artwork by adults with intellectual disabilities from Touch will also be on display.
PUBLIC GARDEN CHRISTMAS 2016

This event will be held over two weekends. The Public Garden will bring together quality brands and independent businesses with unique merchandise for shoppers to find the perfect gift. Singapore’s book and stationary event BookFest@Singapore is on its 2nd and final weekend. Book fanatics can look forward to sharing and autograph sessions, cooking demonstrations and musical showcases. Local artistes or authors who will be present include renowned Singaporean singer-songwriter Liang Wenfu, who will be performing famous hits he has written for Cantonese and Mando-pop stars Jacky Cheung and Andy Lau in an exclusive Closed-Door Music Showcase. Liang will also have an autograph session for his new album I Hear The Sound of Dawn (5pm) on Saturday; and Singaporean actor Li Nanxing who will launch his autobiography, The Real Picture on Sunday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
