Calling all groovy grandparents, here’s a chance for you to bond with your grandchildren over line dancing. This workshop will introduce you to country and pop line dancing. Line dancing has no strict rules, except for some basic steps, which can be applied to any song. Dress up in cowboy outfits for country music or casual wear for pop. JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND, THE 4D EXPERIENCE

Catch this new immersive 4D movie and hang on tight as you ride the virtual 4D roller coaster, Extreme Log Ride. Then, grab a motion-sensor pistol, aim and fire at Asia’s first 4D interactive shoot-out game, Desperados. Daily, 10am to 9pm, Sentosa 4-D AdventureLand, 51 Imbiah Road. TEOCHEW FESTIVAL

Discover Teochew culture or, if you’re Teochew, celebrate your birthright at this first large-scale festival. Covering 30,000 sq ft and featuring more than 20 vendors, you’ll get to sample Teochew delicacies like png kueh, attend master classes by renowned connoisseurs, view artifacts and performances, participate in activities and lucky draws, and more.

Till Oct 5, 10am to 10pm daily, Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. S$5 per person. Stored value tickets of S$25 and S$50 are available for making purchases at the festival.

 

 

DON’T LET THE PIGEON DRIVE THE BUS!

The Pigeon is very clever and will whine, bribe, plead and sing songs for a chance to drive the bus. But will you let him? Written by the Emmy Award-winning Mo Willems, a writer and animator for Sesame Street, this lively show from the United Kingdom is packed with feathers, fun, laughter, original music and audience participation. Great for children two years old and above. Sept 28, 10.30am and 2pm, Alliance Francaise Theatre, 1 Sarkies Road. S$30 per person.

RAZZLE DAZZLE U PICNIC

U Picnic returns with a Razzle Dazzle theme that promises food and fun for the whole family. There will be a laser light show, a glow-in-the-dark experience, craft activities and chances to win attractive prizes at a creative picnic set-up competition and various family challenges. PORT OF LOST WONDER SPOOKY JR

The Port is being invaded by monsters after a science experiment goes terribly wrong. You and your kids are invited to defend it in your best hero outfits. Missions like the Tricky Maze, Slime Fight and Monsters Range await you. Try out the glitter tattoo, monster photo booth, face painting and more. Heroes with the best outfits stand to win prizes of up to S$3,000.
