SINGAPORE — The 18 Community Tribute Sites (CTS) across Singapore will be open for 24 hours until the end of the State Funeral tomorrow (March 29), the People’s Association (PA) announced today (March 28).

Originally, only 10 CTS were open 24 hours. The PA said that it will now keep all 18 CTS open for 24 hours to allow residents who have not had the chance to pay their respects to do so.

More than 700,000 residents have paid their last respects to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew at the 18 Community Tribute Sites (CTS) to date. Since the opening of these sites, more than 12,000 grassroots leaders and volunteers have been on hand to take care of those who needed assistance.

The PA said that it would like to thank members of public who have volunteered their help. Those who are keen to volunteer can still go to their nearest CTS to do so.
