Ministers thank queueing public

SINGAPORE — Several ministers today (March 26) were seen out and about thanking members of the public for taking time off to pay their respects to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

SINGAPORE — Several ministers today (March 26) were seen out and about thanking members of the public for taking time off to pay their respects to the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Some of the ministers included Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Law Minister K Shanmugam and Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob.

Spotted 11.45am: NTUC Secretary-General Lim Swee Say at the Padang to greet and thank members of the public who were waiting in line. He also reminded them to drink plenty of water. 

Spotted 11.15am: DPM Teo Chee Hean at the Padang, where he thanked a few people in line for coming down and spoke to a few army officers.
