Ms Chan Sue Mei (right) struck it big when she decided to take part in the TODAY Shop To Win draw. The executive had known about the contest for several years but never thought of taking part till now. Ms Chan, who spent S$36 on fruits and vegetables at the FairPrice outlet at 100 AM, said: “I always shop at FairPrice but on Jan 15 (the last day for the weekly submission), I decided to try my luck and submit my receipt.”
It was a pleasant surprise for Mr Zahir Hussain when he found out he had won S$10,000 in the TODAY Shop To Win weekly draw. The 34-year-old had spent S$429 on a television at Audio House in Bendemeer. This was the second time Mr Hussain had entered the contest. He said: “I could have bought the television from somewhere else, but I saw that Audio House was the merchant of the week for Shop To Win so I decided to get my television from there.”

After taking part in TODAY Shop To Win for many years, Mr Ong Kok Keng (left/right) has finally won. The 47-year-old manager said: “I have seen the contest evolve over the years and I used to envy the winners who were featured in the newspaper.”
