116 arrested over 6 days for vice, gambling, illegal employment offences

SINGAPORE – A total of 116 people were arrested for vice, gambling or illegal employment offences in a six-day police operation that ended on Monday (March 20).

SINGAPORE — A total of 116 people were arrested for vice, gambling or illegal employment offences in a six-day police operation that ended on Monday (March 20).

The suspects – made up of 63 women and 53 men – were caught in raids and checks at public entertainment outlets, massage establishments and residential units in Beach Road, Boat Quay, Chinatown, Kallang Bahru, Jalan Besar, Jalan Sultan, Central Mall and Little India, said the Police in a news release on Monday.

Investigations against the suspects are ongoing.
