SINGAPORE - 14 bus services will be affected by Orchard Road Pedestrian Night, which will be held every first Saturday of the month, from 6pm to 11pm.

In a press release today (Sept 29), SBS Transit said the bus services will skip three bus stops along Orchard Road and Paterson Road due to road closures.

In addition, SMRT bus services 77, 106, 167, 171, 190, 700A, and 972 will be diverted on the first Saturday of the month starting Oct 4 this year till March 7 next year.

Pedestrian Night will see a 660-metre stretch of Orchard Road - from Scotts Road (Singapore Marriott Hotel) and Bideford Road (Paragon shopping centre) - closed to cars. Motorists can still travel towards the city centre, by going through Patterson Road and Grange Road, towards Orchard Link and back on Orchard Road.
