2014 A-Level cohort gets best results since 2007; 91.4% score at least 3 H2 passes

SINGAPORE — Last year’s cohort of GCE A-Level students got the best results since the examinations under the modified curriculum started in 2007, with 91.4 per cent of them receiving at least three Higher 2 (H2) passes, with a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry.

SINGAPORE — Last year’s cohort of GCE A-Level students got the best results since the examinations under the modified curriculum started in 2007, with 91.4 per cent of them receiving at least three Higher 2 (H2) passes, with a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry.

The 14,185 students who sat for the examination last year bettered the previous best set by the 2013 cohort, where 91.1 per cent achieved this standard of passes.

School candidates were issued their result slips by their respective schools from 2pm today (March 2).

Private candidates will be notified of their individual results by post or can access their results on the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board’s website (www.seab.gov.sg) using the password provided to them.

The A-level curriculum was revised in 2006, with the first cohort of candidates taking their examinations in 2007.
