42 arrested in 2-day crime blitz

SINGAPORE — Police have arrested 42 people for various offences during an islandwide blitz that began yesterday (Oct 15) and concluded today.

SINGAPORE — Police have arrested 42 people for various offences during an islandwide blitz that began yesterday (Oct 15) and concluded today.

The operation, which involved officers from the Criminal Investigation Department as well as six Police Land Divisions, saw suspects arrested for a range of offences including cheating, criminal breach of trust, theft and unlicensed moneylending.

Investigations into the 42 suspects are currently ongoing.
