SINGAPORE — A 42-year-old man will be charged in court tomorrow (Oct 7) with the murder of his five-year-old son, who was found dead this morning, the police said.

The boy was found in a unit of D’Leedon Condominium at Leedon Heights, in a case the police have classified as unnatural death. The police had said earlier today that the man was assisting in investigations.

At around 5.11am today, the man was found injured by police on duty outside Bukit Timah Neighbourhood Police Centre. He was subsequently conveyed to the hospital for medical treatment.

After preliminary enquiries, the police proceeded to a unit in the condominium to find the man’s son lying motionless inside a bedroom. He was pronounced dead at the scene at about 6.17am, the police said.
