SINGAPORE — Starting next Tuesday (Nov 1), those who wish to appeal against their traffic offences will have to do so via the Singapore Police Force’s Traffic e-Appeals Portal.

The traffic police will also no longer accept walk-in appeals as well as appeals sent via fax, e-mail and post.

The police reiterated in a statement that online appeals will only be considered on grounds of medical emergencies and documentary proof will also be required before consideration.

“To protect the safety of all road users, Traffic Police takes a firm stance against traffic offenders and all appeals which do not meet the above criterion will be rejected,” said the statement.
