Bus services to skip several stops this weekend due to CNY-related road closures

SINGAPORE — From Feb 7 to 9, 23 SBS Transit bus services will skip some bus stops due to various Chinese New Year events in the areas.

On Friday and Saturday (Feb 7 and 8), from 9.30pm to 11pm, eight bus services — 36, 56, 70M, 97, 111, 133, 162M and 195 — will skip the bus stop along Raffles Avenue due to lane closures for the Chingay Parade 2014.

On Sunday (Feb 9), from 5pm to 6.30pm, Service 48 will skip two bus stops along Holland Avenue and Holland Drive due to road closures for the Chingay @ Tanjong Pagar & Radin Mas event.

From 2.00pm to 11.00pm on Sunday, 14 bus services will skip eight bus stops in the Chinatown area due to road closures for Chinese New Year celebrations. The 14 bus services are: 2, 12, 33, 54, 63, 80, 124, 143, 145, 147, 166, 197, CT8 and CT18. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
