SINGAPORE — Households using City Gas will pay less for town gas from tomorrow until the end of October.

Gas prices for households will fall by 0.1 per cent from 21.08 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) to 21.06 cents per kWh in the three-month period due to a drop in fuel costs, announced City Gas yesterday. After factoring in Goods and Services Tax, the price per kWh is 22.53 cents.

The gas tariffs are based on guidelines issued by gas industry regulator, the Energy Market Authority.

City Gas supplies town gas to almost 90 per cent of the residents living in new Housing and Development Board estates and private properties, as well as commercial and industrial operations.
