Children experience the life of a medical specialist at Hospital Land

SINGAPORE — It was a morning of serious work for a group of children from Kampong Kapor Family Service Centre who deciphered PET-MRI scans, dispensed medications at a make-believe pharmacy counter and evaluated a friend’s eyesight.

SINGAPORE — It was a morning of serious work for a group of children from Kampong Kapor Family Service Centre who deciphered PET-MRI scans, dispensed medications at a make-believe pharmacy counter and evaluated a friend’s eyesight.

Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital played host to Hospital Land today (Sept 27), an educational carnival designed to let children to experience different medical specialisations such as optometryt, radiology and pharmacy.

As part of their visit to Hospital Land, the children were ushered into hospital wards where they donned hospital scrubs, and took on the role of little doctors responding to different make-believe medical scenarios.
