COE premiums close mixed
SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed mixed at the end of the latest bidding exercise today (Sept 17), with prices rising for motorcycles and in the open category and falling in the other categories.

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc and 97kW) closed at S$62,000, down from S$64,841 two weeks ago, while big car (above 1,600cc and 97kW) premiums closed at S$71,990 from S$73,010.
For goods vehicles and buses, premiums fell to S$49,889, from S$49,901 in the previous bidding exercise.
Premiums for the Open Category, where COEs can be used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for cars, rose to S$74,801 from S$74,403.
Motorcycle premiums closed higher at S$4,504, compared to S$4,453 in the previous exercise.
