SINGAPORE — The Republic’s private residential primary market saw a slight uptick in activity last month, with developers selling more homes despite launching fewer units.

Latest statistics released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) today (March 16) showed that 382 new private homes were sold in February, higher than the 374 transactions recorded in the previous month. The higher sales figure was achieved despite launching fewer units at 357 homes, compared to January’s 421 homes.

Sims Urban Oasis by GuocoLand was the only new project that debuted last month. The development at Sims Drive sold 112 out of the 200 units that were released at a median price of S$1,397 per square foot (psf), making it the best-selling project of the month.

In the executive condominium (EC) segment, 65 units found buyers last month, down from 184 ECs in the previous month. There were no new EC launches last month.
