SINGAPORE — A 77-year-old woman was found dead in the living room of her Tampines flat on Monday (Feb 13).
She was found lying motionless with injuries on the throat in the fifth floor unit at Block 276 Tampines Street 22 when the police arrived after receiving a call at about 2.10pm.
She was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene, the police said on Monday.
The police are investigating the unnatural death. No arrest has been made so far.
TODAY understands that an Indonesian maid was at home at the time of the woman's death, and is assisting police with investigations. The maid had alerted a neighbour, who then called the police.
