Tuas factory fire injures 2: SCDF

SINGAPORE - Two people had to be taken to the hospital for burn injuries after a fire broke out at a factory fire near Tuas West on Saturday (June 24).

SINGAPORE - Two people had to be taken to the hospital for burn injuries after a fire broke out at a factory fire near Tuas West on Saturday (June 24).

The fire at 28 Tuas Avenue 10 started around 4pm, and was brought under control by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) around 5.45pm.

The SCDF said the fire involved "contents" at the factory, but gave no further details. Two people were injured and had to be taken to the Singapore General Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire is unclear.
