GCE A-Level results dip slightly this year
SINGAPORE — Results of the 2016 GCE A-Level examination dipped slightly from the previous year, with about 92.6 per cent of last year’s cohort of 12,538 students getting at least three H2 passes, with a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry.

Nevertheless, it is the second-best showing since the curriculum was revised about a decade ago.
The class of 2015 scored the best results — 93.1 per cent of them achieving the same standard of passes. 2014’s cohort saw 91.4 per cent attaining the same standard of passes.
School candidates received their results at their schools on Friday (Feb 24) from 2.30pm.
Private candidates will be notified of their individual results by post, said the Ministry of Education in a press release. Private candidates can also use their SingPass account to obtain their results online via Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board’s website at www.seab.gov.sg from 2.30pm on Friday.
