SINGAPORE — Integrated civil engineering solutions provider Huationg Global said today (Sept 29) it has secured new civil engineering contracts worth S$81.3 million, including works for Changi Airport Terminal 5, and a new hospital at Sengkang.

Mr Patrick Ng, chief executive officer of Huationg Global, noted that the company has been building up its order book “strongly” since the beginning of this year. It clinched S$28.5 million worth of public sector projects in the first quarter, and S$19.5 million in the second, it said in a statement.

“Our latest achievements in the challenging business climate are clear validation to our well-adopted strategy to focus on public infrastructure projects. It has also catapulted Huationg Global’s position in the civil engineering industry to a leading status.”

“There will be a sustained pipeline of public sector projects which we will tender proactively and aim to bring about enhanced values for our shareholders,”he added.

According to Huationg Global, the new contracts, landed through its wholly owned subsidiary Huationg Contractor Pte Ltd, are expected to be delivered by the group over the next three years. It is unlikely to have a material impact on the group’s earnings per share or net tangible assets per share for the current financial year ending 31 December, it said.

Going into details of the contracts, the company said it included site clearance and earthworks for land preparation at Changi Airport Terminal 5, external works for the proposed development of an integrated regional hospital at Sengkang, as well as earthworks for soil improvement and pile extraction works at Depot.
