SINGAPORE — The posting results for the 2015 Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) will be released on Thursday (Jan 29) at 9am, while the results of the Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE) will be released on Friday (Jan 30) at the same time, the Ministry of Education (MOE) said.

JAE applicants can obtain their posting results through the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS), while JPSAE applicants can access their results via a separate portal.

Students posted to a junior college (JC) or the Millennia Institute (MI) should report to the institutions at 7.30am on Friday, the MOE said. Applicants posted to a Polytechnic or Institute of Technical Education (ITE) course will receive further instructions via an enrolment package from the respective institutions by mail.

APPEALS: WHAT TO DO

The MOE advised applicants who wish to appeal for a transfer to another JC or the MI, to directly approach the institution of their choice.

Students who wish to appeal for a place in a polytechnic diploma course or another diploma course should do so via the Centralised Joint Polytechnic JAE appeal system, from 9am to 4pm on Feb 3.

Every applicant submitting an appeal is allowed to select up to three polytechnic diploma courses for which they meet the minimum entry requirements and attains an aggregate score that matches or is better than that of the lowest-ranked student successfully posted through the 2015 JAE, the MOE said.

The outcome of the JAE appeals will be released through the Centralised Joint Polytechnic JAE appeal website on Feb 9 at 2pm.

Applicants who wish to appeal for a place in the ITE can do so at its website, from 9am on Jan 29 to 11.59pm on Feb 4. The outcome of the appeals will be available at another ITE portal from 9am on Monday, Feb 23 to 11.59pm on Thursday, Feb 26. Successful applicants are required to accept the offer by Thursday.
