SINGAPORE — From April, KrisFlyer members will be able to redeem their miles for vouchers for travel on Scoot and Tigerair flights with the inclusion of both carriers into Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) frequent flyer programme.

And by the end of this year, the carriers also plan to offer KrisFlyer members the option to earn miles when they fly on Scoor or Tigerair.

“Scoot and Tigerair are already important parts of the SIA Group’s portfolio of airlines. Including them as KrisFlyer partners is a natural development and will help us live up to our promise to constantly offer more benefits to our members,” said SIA’s Senior Vice President Marking Planning, Ms Lee Wen Fen.

KrisFlyer members will also be able to redeem their miles to pay for selected products offered by the two low-cost carriers from April.

Currently, KrisFlyer members can earn miles when they travel on SIA, SilkAir, partner airlines on Star Alliance as well as other airline partners.
