Krispy Kreme’s Singapore store opens Oct 12

SINGAPORE — Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will open its first outlet in Singapore at Tangs Orchard Basement 1 on Oct 12.

SINGAPORE — Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will open its first outlet in Singapore at Tangs Orchard Basement 1 on Oct 12.

The 1,200 square-foot sit-in cafe will feature a doughnut theatre for the production of fresh doughnuts, signalled by the switching-on of the iconic red-neon “HOT NOW” lights.

The American doughtnut chain, founded 75 years ago, is known for its Original Glazed Doughnut as well as 15 other favourites, including Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, New York Cheesecake and Red Velvet.

Prices start from S$2.60 each or S$23.40 for a dozen of the Original Glazed doughnuts. The store will also sell freshly-brewed coffee and iced Krispy Kreme Chillers.

Krispy Kreme will also be visiting schools and offices to give away 100,000 Original Glazed doughnuts to celebrate the opening of their store. Those who want the Krispy Kreme folks to visit their office can vote for their company on Krispy Kreme’s website.

Die-hard fans of Krispy Kreme who get in line ahead of the store’s opening at Tangs Orchard stand to get their hands on Golden, Silver and Bronze Tickets, which will win them up to a year’s unlimited supply of free Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
