SINGAPORE — A Malaysian man was arrested for failing to stop his car for immigration clearance at Woodlands Checkpoint yesterday (April 13), the authorities said.

According to a statement by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), 42-year-old Koh Chin Had, who attempted to evade immigration clearance by tailgating the car in front of him, had his car trapped in the zone after an ICA officer activated the alarm and locked down the Arrival Car Zone.

Koh was immediately arrested.

He was found not to be in possession of a travel document and will be charged in court today for failure to present a passport for clearance and failure to stop his vehicle upon point of entry.
