SINGAPORE — A 43-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in stealing diesel from heavy vehicles.

The police, in a statement today (Oct 2), said they received several reports of theft of diesel from heavy vehicles parked in the vicinity of Jurong Industrial Estate.
The suspect was arrested at about 4.30am today at International Road, and a jerry can and rubber hoses were seized from his possession.
He will be charged in court tomorrow. If convicted, he could be jailed up to three years and may be fined for each of the charge.
