Man arrested for allegedly cheating at MBS casino
SINGAPORE – A 30-year-old man has been arrested for the possession and use of items which are believed to have facilitated his cheating at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino.
SINGAPORE – A 30-year-old man has been arrested for the possession and use of items which are believed to have facilitated his cheating at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) casino.
Following up on information received, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested the man yesterday (March 1) at the casino. Several items, believed to have been used by the suspect to facilitate his crime, were also seized.
The man will be charged in court tomorrow for the offence of Use or Possession of Equipment, Device or Thing that Permits or Facilitates Cheating in the Casino. If convicted, he may be fined up to S$150,000 and/or jailed up to seven years.
