Man arrested for hurting another with penknife, screwdriver
SINGAPORE — A 49-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (March 28) for harming a 60-year-old shop owner with a penknife and a screwdriver last Saturday, causing him to suffer injuries to his head and arm.
SINGAPORE — A 49-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (March 28) for harming a 60-year-old shop owner with a penknife and a screwdriver last Saturday, causing him to suffer injuries to his head and arm.
The assailant fled the scene after the alleged assault in the Cambridge Road area, the police said on Wednesday. It is not immediately clear what his motive for hurting the shop owner was.
Investigations are ongoing following his arrest at Spooner Road, the police said.
If found guilty, he can be jailed for up to seven years, fined, and/or caned.
