Man arrested for outrage of modesty

SINGAPORE — Police have arrested a 23-year-old man suspected to be involved in a case of outrage of modesty.
In a statement, police said a 37-year-old woman had reported that the man had touched her on the chest along Boon Lay Way last night (Sept 21), at about 10.22pm.
With help from a member of the public, she had detained the man and called for Police assistance.
Investigations against the suspect are still ongoing. If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to two years or a fine, and may be caned in addition.
