SINGAPORE — A 33-year-old man has been arrested for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.

The man is suspected to have touched a female teenager’s lower body as she was alighting from the train at Promenade MRT station yesterday (Nov 25) evening. The 18-year-old victim confronted the man, and he was subsequently detained and arrested by the police.
Investigations are ongoing. If convicted, the man faces a jail term of up to two years and caning.
