McDonald’s Singapore says free $100 voucher circulating online not genuine

SINGAPORE — McDonald’s Singapore said today (Dec 13) that a $100 voucher circulating online is not issued by the company and is not genuine.

SINGAPORE — McDonald’s Singapore said today (Dec 13) that a $100 voucher circulating online is not issued by the company and is not genuine.

In a Facebook post today, the company notified customers about a site which called on people to claim a “free $100 McDonalds Voucher” for Christmas and highlighted that there is “no such promotion”.

The company also reminded its customers to check with its website or official Facebook page to verify if any e-coupons are genuine.

Customers commenting on the company’s post suggested that the link, which was posted by a few of them as pointing to a website named “mcdonalds.dailygiveaways.me”, was actually pointing to a ‘phising’ website.
