SINGAPORE — Both Merlion statues at the Merlion Park will be undergoing regular cleaning from Jan 23 to Jan 28, announced the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) today (Jan 16).

While these works are in progress, the main Merlion statue will be boarded up and will not be available for photo-taking, said the STB. The water feature of both statues will also be switched off.

Works and barricades may also cause some inconvenience, said the STB.

“We seek the public’s understanding...during this period,” the government agency added.
