MEWR to spend S$1.75 billion in 2015

• Build another 10 new hawker centres by 2027

• Tightening of industrial emissions standards

• Extension of Early Turnover Scheme to allow 59,000 more Euro II and III commercial diesel vehicles to qualify

• Third desalination plant to be built in Tuas

• New national voluntary e-waste recycling partnership programme to be launched

• New food waste recycling pilots: Two at hawker centres and one centralised centre in Clementi
