SINGAPORE — This year’s Motoring Heritage Day offered a treat for fans of historic vehicles, featuring the largest-ever display of rare vintage cars.

Set against the iconic backdrop of the former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, more than 50 vintage cars and bicycles were displayed, providing visitors with a glimpse into the transportation scene of yesteryear.

The event was organised by the National Heritage Board in partnership with the Malaysia and Singapore Vintage Car Register and various heritage enthusiasts.

Organisers say that many of the vintage cars on display are possibly the only remaining ones left in Singapore, and are extremely rare in the region.

Owners of the cars were also on hand to share their personal stories on motoring and ways to restore vintage vehicles. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
