SINGAPORE — The Municipal Services Office (MSO) is in the process of developing a new one-stop mobile application to address the public’s need for a single point of contact for complex municipal issues, announced Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Grace Fu at a site visit to the Land Transport Authority (LTA) today.

The new app will include features like Geo-tagging and the use of photographs for citizens to give accurate reporting on municipal issues.

Ms Fu also said MSO will be developing a standard protocol of processing feedback among the participating agencies.

As agencies are currently operating on different systems, the new protocol will help develop a better understanding among the different agencies to capture feedback, transfer cases to relevant agencies and track its progress, she added.

In the meantime, MSO is in the process of recruiting staff while its office will be set up by Oct 1.
