SINGAPORE — Nokia’s latest edition of its iconic 3310 model, complete with 3G mobile connection, will hit Singapore’s stores from Saturday (Oct 14).

The phone is selling at a global retail price of 69 Euros (S$110), but will be available here at a suggested retail price of S$99.

Some of the authorised retailers here include M1, StarHub, Courts, Harvey Norman, Challenger, and Mustafa.

Finnish manufacturer HMD Global Oy, which owns the exclusive rights to market Nokia phones, said in a news release on Monday (Oct 9) that these retailers would carry two colours of the phone, in warm red and charcoal.

On Sept 28, HMD Global launched the Nokia 3310 3G in four colours — yellow, warm red, azure and charcoal.

The phone features more spacing between the buttons, and holds one SIM card. Battery power is estimated to last up to 6.5 hours of talk time, and up to 27 days of standby time.

The popular Nokia game Snake, which was a mainstay on the older version of the 3310 model, will also get a new look in the latest edition.

Earlier in February, Nokia relaunched the 3310 model with 2.5G connectivity, but it was reported then that telcos in Singapore would not be offering the phone, because 2G mobile operations would no longer be available here from April.
